About Us

We at Vigyan Vyanjan are on a mission to re‑invent STEM teaching in India through thoughtfully designed games, toys, and hands‑on activities.

Our founder, Dr. Poorti Kathpalia, is an educator and science communicator with a PhD in Neuroscience from AIIMS, New Delhi. Her passion for neuroscience and brain development led her to experiment with diverse, research‑backed teaching methods for biology.

​

She has worked with premier genomics and biotechnology research institutes in India, which shaped the scientific rigour behind every Vigyan Vyanjan product. One such initiative was the [Lab@Home] activity kit, developed at CSIR‑IGIB, Delhi in collaboration with Dr. Beena Pillai (Chief Scientist, IGIB), which laid the foundation for Vigyan Vyanjan.
